Today (Thursday, May 18th), is officially the first day of Salt and Light Link Up party. A journey that has began a year ago.
One year ago Natalie and I had a phone conversation about the desires we had for our blogs. We both hoped to use our individual blogs as a tool to bring a community for other Christian Bloggers and women.
Natalie’s heart was very much set upon hosting a Link Up Party.
Before starting her own blog, she was someone that was a frequent reader to Christian Blog links because she would find much encouragement through anointed writers.
Her experience with Blog Link Up’s gave her the vision to one day be able to encourage other women as much as it did for her.
As new bloggers during that conversation, our focus was to first learn about blogging and to become comfortable with writing before being able to host for other bloggers.
A few month ago, Alisa approached Natalie and me about hosting a Link Up Party together. When this happened we knew it was time.
Natalie and I felt the Lord was leading us as a group to begin the Link Up as a team.
Natalie’s vision of bringing Salt and Light Link Up party was coming to life with sisters in Christ that she loved, trusted, and have already prayed with many times before.
The vision and purpose of the Link Up Party is to bring unity and to create a place where the written words of the gospel can touch many women.
This Link up party is not just an opportunity of promotion for a blogger but this is a place of unity for the woman of God.
This is a place where a reader can be fulfilled with His word by many writers and where the Blogger can be fulfilled with His grace of unifying us as the body of Christ.
