Christmas Books your kids will love!
Before we get started on the 12 best Christmas books we have found and read to our children, lets go over the best ways to share the books with them during the holiday season.
12 Days of Reading
Get your kids excited for Christmas by wrapping the books up underneath the Christmas tree. Have them choose one wrapped book from the tree each night and be surprised by which your children have chosen or you can strategically wrap the books with numbers on each wrapping so you know which ones they will be grabbing from under the tree.
Give Books instead of presents.
As a homeschool mom, the more books we have the better. Thankfully our children have fallen in love with books and enjoy them as gifts. However, the key to this is giving them books that matches who they are. Give your children books they will love and will want to read over and over again!
Read aloud your Favorite Christmas Book on Christmas Eve.
We have done this with all twelve of my parents grandchildren. It was a great tradition to start. Our choice is The Tale of The Three Trees which you will see on the list below. The kids become excited when they know we are about to get hot chocolate and cuddle around to listen to a book we all love.
Have your children be the ones to read a Christmas book.
Encourage your children to choose a Christmas book to read aloud to you or your family. Especially let them surprise their grandparents during the Holiday Season with a special reading.
