To simplify it, Blogging is probably one of the coolest things I have done in my life. Sounds nerdy, huh? But in all seriousness, it is! Not because I am that person that goes around and say, “Hey everybody, I am a blogger, I am going to blog about this.” Nope, not.at.all.
It is actually very rare that I tell anyone upfront that I am a blogger. If it comes up, then sure, I will probably talk so much about blogging and what I love about it, that it will make them wish they didn’t ask.
Back to why it is the “coolest thing” I have ever done!
(palm face for sounding older and nerdier than I am …lol)
Because it is something that has kept me close to the Lord. It has given me more accountability in my walk with God than I have probably ever had. (Besides from the Holy Spirit, of course!)
On days that I’ve wanted to quit because I felt inadequate, completely sucked out of time, drained from the constant changes in blogging, or even just beat down from the thought, “Is this even that important for ME to do?!”, the Lord was quick to tell me to not stop. That there was a bigger picture.
Usually one or the other response comes from Him to me:
“If I told you to start, then you must wait till I tell you to stop. I have not told you to stop yet.”
“This is ministry. Ministry is not to fulfill your purpose, it is to fulfill mine. You are my servant”
Boom that second one usually gets me right on the nose. Because it’s true. Our purpose in life as Christian is fulfill the Ministry of Christ.
Christ’s command to us was to spread the gospel to the end of the earth. (Matthew 28:16-20) To me, in this time of 2018, as I am able to sit here in my little creative space with a open laptop in the midnight hour, I am honored to write as Christ being the foundation and reasoning behind all that I convey through the internet.
What am I writing? Writing for the glory of God.
Who am I writing for? For the purpose of bringing glory to God.
This is our purpose; woman, man of God that started your blog for Him. To disciple through writing. To turn our words that we write on the phones, laptops, tablets, computers, to be effective for Him.
Here I go about blogging and why I love it so much as a tool to use for discipleship. Let me get back to the title of this post;
50+ Blog Posts that Encourage Christian Bloggers to Blog.
So here comes the truth: even though we love blogging, it can be hard, right?! My heart wants to express the many reasons why it can be hard, but I can feel in my spirit that this is not the post to express why it can be, so I will just leave it with this.
It can be hard!
And if I can do anything for my fellow brothers, sisters, and writers in Christ, it would be this:
To encourage you.
I can not write post after post to encourage you but I did do my best to link over 50 blog posts from Christian Bloggers that has encouraged me and has also experienced things just like you and me. Here are their hearts through the pen and paper (keyboard) to encourage you with your walk as a disciple through writing.
Be blessed you oh’ creative one. Be encouraged with what has and what is about to come. May your eyes be enlightened by the knowledge of God, with the purpose of your mind to create written words to inspire who Christ is. Your willingness for the kingdom and for Christ himself is not done in vain but rather for glorification to our Father above. From my heart to yours, may your needs be met and your desires be given as you sacrifice your time to give.

Hi Carmen, I love your blog and this post. Very helpful. Im new to blogging and your blog lol and planning to launch in Dec 2018 but I’m still working full time a very demanding job. I’m looking for Christian bloggers who work full time? And even some if you know them who are not based in USA. I’m an African woman living in the Middle East and just looking for others at this stage to be encouraged.

First of all, Congratulations on getting started on a new blog. I hope it launches well! I can not think of any specific blogs right now that writes about blogging and working full time and that is outside of the USA. I do hope you find one so you can stay encouraged as you start your own!

These two statements hit home with me:
“If I told you to start, then you must wait till I tell you to stop. I have not told you to stop yet.”
“This is ministry. Ministry is not to fulfill your purpose, it is to fulfill mine. You are my servant”
Yes, and so I’m blogging again. Thanks for this great list of faithful bloggers to read through, some of them, again.

I LOVE this resource! It is so very needed. As a new blogger, I’m easily lost in the sea of questioning. Often wondering what am I doing? I love writing, but I have no idea how to navigate all the other stuff that goes along with blogging. I’m so grateful for your Carmen, thank you for putting such an extensive resource together, I’m going to bookmark this one:) Blessings to you and your family!
