Hello!
My name is Carmen Brown. I am married to an amazing man named Anthony. Which of whom I love to serve the Lord with. We are blessed with five beautiful children. All of them are so very different. Mostly because they are all in different stages of their life. My oldest daughter is a teenager, oldest son is pre-teen, then the youngest three are under four years old. Basically we have a loud house at all times. This is why I mostly write at night….well, that and the fact that I am a night owl and still can get up early to take care of the kids.
I became a stay at home mom five years ago. I have a love/sometimes just like it type of relationship with it. Kids are awesome to be with but being a mommy full time is hard! Every day is a new day and is never the same; no matter how hard you try to keep a schedule!
I truly believe after giving my life to Christ, He showed me how much I was meant to be a mom. The success of my career was suddenly on the low end of priorities.
I love reading books and blogs that has anything to do with marriage and discipleship. I can not start a day without a cup of coffee. Coffee is just amazing to me! On hectic days it’s pretty much breakfast, lunch, and dinner to me. (I do not recommend that!).
I love writing and been doing it for years. It’s always been therapeutic to me. I felt like writing for others to see was tugging at me for two years prior before starting a blog. I love to write to encourage myself and others by writing about my passion for the Lord. Blogging is not how I thought I would do it, but after some major research, here I am with a blog!
My Mission:
My mission is to be led by God. In 2009 I dedicated my life to the Lord. I was going through a divorce and felt very much alone. I was ministered to through a Freedom class then a movie at a church event. Instantly I was sold out for Christ. I became a true believer that God will and can, heal, deliver, and restore.
When divorce happened a year later, I never doubted what God was doing. I knew that all things worked together for the good to those who love Him and was called for His purpose. I sought Him and asked Him to direct my steps. After much forgiveness and surrendering all my cares and hurt to Him, He healed me, delivered me, and restored me.
My husband, Anthony and I have now been married for five years. Personally, I love every bit of it. He is a man after Gods heart. We are in agreement that our mission is to be led by God in all that we do.
Purpose of Blog:
As I began the adventure of blogging in my life, I hoped to inspire and encourage other women with the Word of God. To write experiences of being a wife and stay at home mother, as a follower of Christ. I desire to express understanding, compassion, and love to all the beautiful, strong, graceful wives and mothers that read this. I want to share about the blessings of building up our homes as godly wives and mothers.
Building a Blog:
Since blogging, I have developed a love for encouraging new bloggers. After reading a high statistic number of how many bloggers fail per year I became heartbroken wondering how many of them were Bloggers spreading the gospel. I immediately began writing to new bloggers about how to blog, how to build a blog, and how our blogs are needed.
If you are interested in starting a blog, I recommend checking out my Blogging Page to find tips nd resources; especially for inspiration as a Christian Writer.
You can learn how to start a blog here.
I lead a private Facebook group that is specifically for Christian Women Bloggers, By His Grace Bloggers.
The purpose of the group is to help others use their blog as a ministry and to build as an entrepreneur. Natalie and I teach on branding, social media, building a following. We also encourage bloggers to use their blog as a ministry through their writings and to follow the desire God has placed in us as Christian Bloggers. This group has been the biggest blessing to me in my blogging journey.
I have also created a eBook specifically for Christian Bloggers. The eBook is about how to build a blog and to establish yourself as a Christian Blogger.
The “By His Grace We Blog” eBook consists of 17 chapters that is full of steps of how to build your blog. You can find out more here.

Married By His Grace:
Founded 2016. Married By His Grace was created because His grace is upon us. I am married to my husband that I have the honor to serve the Lord with because of His grace. I am able to write about marriage and being a mother because of His grace. When I gave my life to Christ, I started a lifelong relationship with the Lord. I am married to the Lord first and I have a marriage with Him because of grace. As I write this blog I hope for us women to receive His grace through the lifelong relationship we have with Him.
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God. Ephesians 2:8

Dear Carmen,
I have been a Christian blogger for about 3 years. I also write about teaching parents to teach their kids through movement, especially for homeschooling parents. My 3 categories are Faith, Family and Education. I have been pouring myself into putting more educational items out there because of the Covid19. It seemed to be the right timing for that. Well, God kept placing on my heart that my focus should be on healing families because of what is going on. I read in the “Iblog” article that if God tells you to change what you are writing about then you must do it (Where He leads me I will follow) Those words kept playing over and over again in my head. I decided to follow God’s lead and I wrote an article about my marriage that was healed by God and the steps that I have taken to get there. I have posted other articles of situations that I had to depend on our loving God. He has pulled me through so much and I want to show others how I made it and how they can do the same. Thank you so much for your encouragement and articles that you have given us. I see God working through you.

I am so glad you have been encouraged and listening to the leading of God. What we do for Him online is important and valuable to speak to so many all over. We may not always understand why we write what we write but He does. Blessed to be writing alongside with you!

Dear Carmen,
Last evening , I came across your pin on Pinterest which links to your blog about discouraged Christian bloggers. As I read your post, the Lord spoke to my heart. Not so much that I was discouraged, but that we need to keep our eves focused on Him who called us to blog in the first place.
I started my blog, MEN WHO CONQUER ( menwhoconquer.com) in April to reach out to other Christian men who want to experience a closer walk with Jesus and the “abundant life” he promises in John 10:10. I’ve only written 5 posts so far, but your post written two years has encouraged me that I’m doing what God wants me to do.
I am a senior man (80 years old) and want to be obedient to God and to finish well the task He has called me to do.
Thanks again for your encouragement to all bloggers, but especially to us who are just starting!
Sincerely,
Gary

What an important thing you are doing for aspiring writers of Christian works. I support the idea that it can be fundamental as an instrument that can provide purpose in any stage of life. The process of looking for, finding and developing
God’s gifts within us is so important; particularly as a Senior. I am 89, married for 68 years, and an artist, writer and blogger for many years. My focus at this point of my life is writing short (and Christian) stories for young boys to help them move into responsible manhood. Hence; travelstomanhood.blog. It’s new, but beginning to reach. If you have time to read a few and offer any suggestions
I would really appreciate it. A fellow traveler; Blessings, Milt Wear

Wow! You are so filled with passion for the Lord. As I was reading about you, I kept thinking how awesome it would be to have someone like this by my side. You are the type of sister in Christ that I want to stand beside in worship. Your passion and desire for God just makes me want to raise my hands and praise God. I recently began a Christian marriage and family blog, due to the many marriages that had come apart among friends that I knew. God continued to press upon my heart that something needed to be done. Christian marriages and families were under attack from Satan and if things did not change the family as we knew it would be no more. The blog was born. However, I have to admit that I had no clue what I was doing or if it was even going to work. Jesus take the wheel. God has been good and I have seen Him glorified through this. The encouragement that you give is priceless, and I really needed it. Thank you!

You are so sweet for your kind words! I am so glad that there is someone out there speaking with boldness and confidence on the things that God has placed on your heart! It takes so much sacrifice and obedience to speak on topics such as spiritual warfare, marriage, parenting, and all things biblical but the purpose of our lives is to do His will. I am so blessed to know so many amazing women of God doing just that. Praying your new journey as a Christian writer is abundantly blessed by the work of your hands. Standing and praising God with you!

I am promoting a book my husband wrote titled “Perfect Love”. Although he wrote it while we were going through a divorce, we had no idea God was going to use this book to heal our hearts and reunite us. This book is packed with the power of Jesus and extremely encouraging. The first time I read it, I was greatly offended as he shared our story but then God started moving me to use the tools Brian put in his book and before I knew it, my heart was changed. Visit this link to watch a radio interview Brian had. We would love to send you a copy of the book. Please let me know if you’re interested. Thank you and have a blessed day.

Bless You Woman of God, its a blessing to come across your blog! I can tell you put much work into this blog, but by the grace of god i know that you dont look at it as work but as a gift to be able to blog, for you find pleasure in spreading the word of god to woman all over! Therefore bless your genuine heart , and love for The Lord God, for you are one called to be a worshipper as that of the woman at the well, your callings is to tell many “COME SEE A MAN” and your blogs are more enlightening then you know or understand, many have read and commented, but many have also come across your page and havent said a word, but were moved by the words presented on this site! Therefore keep pushing woman of god, my husband always says, “throw enough mud against the wall, somethings got to stick” !! Thank You again for sharing your experiences with the world, for they have blessed me so much!

Thank you for creating such a gracious space for new bloggers. I’m in my 5th month (as of three days ago) and I am just now venturing out into more intentional branding. I plan to make your resources a part of this exciting yet challenging phase…
Also, I’m recently engaged to a man who loves God just as much as I do and guess what! His name is Anthony too! Haha. I look forward to following your blog and hopefully connecting down the line. Prayer and blessings!
