30 Days of Family Christmas Movies
Christmas is a pretty big deal in our home. The tree is usually up the day before Thanksgiving day and Christmas movies are usually playing throughout the house starting the first day in November.
I desire so much for my kids to love the season with all the Christmas décor, music, and movies they can get. True story, I forced my kids to watch Home alone with me even though they begged not to because “it looked too old” (rolling mom eyes) and now it is their favorite Christmas movie. They even played it everyday during the month of December till mid January.
We love playing Christmas music throughout the house but there is just something more homey for us as a family to have a Christmas movie on every day of the week from Thanksgiving day till Christmas day.
Just give me all the gingerbread houses, pumpkin spice candles, The Grinch movie lines, cuddles on the couch, and twinkling lights from the trees.
Hmmmm…… A little piece of Christmas heaven to me!
Ok, so on to the movies. Here is a list of Christmas movies that has become favorites in our home as a family.
I know many of you may think there is so much to add to the Christmas movie list and there definitely is.
Such as:
The Shop around the Corner
Miracle on 34th street – The Original
Meet me in St. Louis
A Christmas Carol – The Original
Babes in Toyland
Scrooged
Those and lots more should be on the list for Christmas favorites but as a mom of five kids, choosing these family movies is what we are loving right now.

The list below are all pretty much wholesome family movies for the Christmas season.
You can find these movies either on Amazon, Netflix, or from both.
Christmas Tip to Share:
Grab your FREE printable Christmas Planner. This is by far mine and my husband’s favorite Christmas Planner that our really good friends make. Be sure to print it and put it into a binder. I am not the greatest at organizing but this planner / Christmas tracker made it so simple for us last year.
