In a previous post, Are you a Christian Blogger?, I asked Christian Bloggers to leave a comment about their blog so readers and other bloggers could visit their site for encouragement and inspiration. The request was to leave their name, why they blog, and the URL to their site.
I have been utterly encouraged, blessed, and inspired connecting with all the Christian based bloggers that has left comments. I am humbled and honored to be spreading the gospel with each and everyone of you!
Each of you have a gift and talent the Lord has equipped you with. You all have your own unique style of writing that will touch someone who needs to read the specific way you express your teachings, testimony, passion, and inspiration into your blog.
I loved the connection that has happened over the past week! I have been able to see sites that have just started and some that are established. What is most special to me is that each one is writing their heart out with the desire to teach His Word.
So many different styles and techniques to appreciate out there that is being led by the hand of God! I have been touched by each one and I want to encourage the ones that commented; that many others have also been encouraged!
Trust me when I say, I know the feeling of looking at our numbers and google analytics, wondering if we are touching somebody …. anybody?
And YES, we are! More than you know!
When we truly give our blog site and writings over to God, we are allowing God to have our writings touch the person and/or people it needs to touch that day by His plans.
Before I click the publish button after typing up my posts, I place my hands over the screen and pray the post goes before the eyes that the Lord has set to see.
As Christian Bloggers with readers that are taking our written words with a great significance, it is important we do not take our accountability as a Christian Writer lightly.
Checking stats for gain should not always be our focus.
Now…. there are some of us bloggers out there that are working towards making an income from blogging; looking at our google analytics better is important because it can help us grow in areas of how to build an income for the household.
But should this be the focus?
I am not saying to not look at your numbers because if you do then you do not have your priorities right….. there is importance to look at them for the overall outcome of how to present your blog and to discover what your audience really do need.
I am just recommending to look at them with the view of what God is wanting you to learn from this.
Where is God leading your writings?
Where are the needs out there?
Do you see one country more than the other reading your blog?
If so, pray for that country. There’s most likely a hunger there.
Is there a specific age group that is being led to your blog that you did not expect?
Then pray for them!
Is there a site that generates more traffic for you than all the others? Then pray for that site to be touched by the Word of God as it goes through their feed. Pray that the site does not eventually get consumed by their own tremendous amount of traffic. Also pray, it does not lead to destructive decisions by leadership. This eventually affects everyone that uses this site for marketing.
See the bigger picture than what you would normally see when you look at your analytics.
Look how God is using you to speak to the 6 people that may have opened your site today.
True story for me, only 6 people a day average for me for weeks before. If you can appreciate the small number then you will greatly appreciate the large number and will be humbled for how God is using you.
When you involve God in everything you are doing with this blog, watch it prosper.
By what I have read in the past week, all of you are writing His words. You are allowing Him to use each of you in different ways! And it is awesome! Let it continue to touch every area of your site and in all those tedious things you do day in and day out that brings growth to your blog.
God will provide! If this is your business, He will provide just as much as we would trust Him to provide if we had a 9am-5pm job. If this is, a blog to journal your spiritual growth during your free time; God will prosper your relationship with Him because we are doing His will! And if this is a blog to speak to a specific group of people that the Lord has given you a heart to, use your testimony and know that the Lord will carry you through!
To my brothers and sisters in Christ, I look forward to doing much more of His work with you!
Thank you for all that has commented so far!

It is so crazy that you wrote these words two years ago and yet I sit here as a relatively new blogger, reading these words as tears stream down my cheeks. God called me to start a blog a few months ago in an answer to a specific prayer that I prayed for five years, to help me earn an income. I get so discouraged at minimal page views. Every day I log in to Pinterest and it glares at me “____ has 1 monthly visitor” or my mailchimp has 0 subscribers to my newsletter. And then a few days ago someone on Pinterest saved one of my articles to their personal board and how exciting was that to see that what God is having me do, how He is using me, well it touched one person and that is ALL that matters! My blog reached that one person. His word reached that person! But, the tears are streaming down my face because as much time as I spend praying over my blog, I have never truly given it over to Him. When I get discouraged by the minimal page views, then that means I am still clutching my blog and I need to let go and hand it over to Him. And you know what else? You are right! He has shown me that my blog will be income producing and He will provide! I will do the work, day after day, and in His time, He will provide!!

I loved this post! As a new blogger, this is a great mindset for me to have while blogging. To see it as a ministry and to include the Lord in all parts of it. I truly want to be led by Him and know that when I am, people will be touched and blessed in a greater way. Thank you for this!
