As a Blogger there is so much work to be done.
Writing then write some more. Catching up daily on our social medias to get exposure and build relationships with your readers.
Maintaining Pinterest. Write some more. Set goals and pursue those goals. Check and respond promptly to emails and comments.
Correct glitches on site immediately when appears (unfortunately this happens), join link parties, work on post images for site and Instagram. Work on a product. Work on promoting the products.
Then write some more.
As a Christian Bloggers with the foundation building on Christ there is a responsibility to God that is to be done before all the tasks I just mentioned.
Read your word. Fall humbly before God and seek His direction.
Receive what He has given, to stand, and walk in the direction He has spoken, to write the words He gave.
To post the images He requested with modesty and humility.
Respond to emails and comments with grace and gratefulness.
To produce a product He ordained for you. Then to write more.
Possibly just to Him this time. A letter, a prayer, a hope that is between you and God that is for the well being of the blog or for your fellow bloggers He has placed before.
The past few weeks I have honestly felt weary and the moments of discouragement has crept in.
I have questioned myself; is this what I am truly supposed to be doing right now?
I have four growing kids, a home to maintain, and being a godly wife that is in her word and putting the word to life as a wife is well up on the list for me personally.
I have questioned myself if there is even enough hours in the day to do all that there needs to be done.
How can I give to others when I am barely giving to myself? To walk proudly in my calling of a wife and mother.
“Blogging for Me through Me is the calling I have called you to do.” #Christianblogging Share on XWhen I finally choose to listen, I got to hear clearly what God has been trying to say to me the past few weeks.
“Blogging for Me through Me is the calling I have called you to do.”
He began to show me the times I have received motivation and joy because of a fellow blogger or reader of the blog thanked me for the encouragement they received from the blog.
He showed me the times that I have kneeled before Him to pray for other bloggers that were struggling with their calling. How He told me to pray earnestly for them and how that brought forth confidence within me as a blogger myself.
He showed me times I had discernment and recognized the enemy trying to tear down what I, as a Blogger was trying to accomplish and called it out by name with rebuke by the name of Jesus Christ and how victory was gained.
The Lord showed me these things because it reminded me that although I personally gained positive emotions and drive through all these situations; there was effectiveness for others, and that is the calling for myself and upon each and every one of my Christian fellow bloggers that is allowing God to use them.
I am not alone is this. Other bloggers are doing this and greater. It is all placed before us by the obedience we are giving.
If I stopped blogging then the affect will turn to being infectiveness.
Time for me to stop blogging is not now. Time for me to guess when I am supposed to stop is not now!
What is now, is walking in the calling He has called for me (and you) today.
I have been waking up the past few days and speaking out loud to myself;
“Walk in your calling today!”
Whatever God has called me to do, I must walk in it. Walk in confidence that this is what God has requested and with that, He will give rest, teach me time management, and will lift my spirit when feeling discouraged.
If you knew me personally, you would know this is hard for me to say out loud to myself or to say to anyone else. But this is what God has said I need to say as a reminder blogging is not just about you but about what I am doing through you. A calling is not of your own.
A calling is because God called you by name (“Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine.” Isaiah 43:1) He handpicked you to do His will that will not only affect you but others that are around you.
You most likely may never know who you have encouraged and helped but that’s ok because when you walk in your calling you are walking in a humbleness that is set for God.
Please take this prayer as a passion and love I have for God and for you as we join together in blogging as brothers and sisters in Christ.
The Bloggers Prayer
Dear Lord,
I pray today for myself and my brothers and sisters in Christ that are bloggers.
As we write Your words to spread the gospel and share the passions you have placed within us that will speak encouragement to others we will come to seek You first.
May we have perseverance to continue to do the calling upon each and everyone of our lives.
I ask for You to place discernment within us so we can recognize when the enemy is trying to attack with discouragement and strife.
Give us bloggers wisdom to call it out and defeat it.
Give us compassion for our readers and fellow bloggers.
Teach us how to pray for others when You place it on our hearts to do so.
I pray You bless each of us with knowledge and understanding that will radiate from our writings.
Lord, I ask for You to open our eyes and ears to Your vision and words for the blog.
When we feel tired or weary, I pray we learn to come to You for rest.
Give us the wisdom to be proactive in time management and planning.
Lead us Lord into Your will and ways for the blog that was placed for Your purpose.
Do not allow fear or uncertainty to creep into our minds that can cause destruction to Your plans.
Create in us O’ Lord a clean heart, humility, and a passion that is running after Your will.
Teach us to be content and meek in monetizing from blogging. Train us up to tithe righteously then give wholeheartedly.
We bless Your name O’ Lord,
We praise Your presence,
And we seek Your will.
In Jesus Name,
Amen.
Please feel encouraged today as we take the journey of blogging together. If this post was an encouragement to you please share. Share with other bloggers that are like minded and passionate for the goal of spreading the gospel.

I can’t remember if I wrote before…. but I use your quote “walk in your calling today. ” I’ve even put your name on the quote. That phrase has helped me so much… it keeps me in the present. Because in the present is where I need to walk in my calling…. not yesterday or tomorrow… but today, right now. Thank you!

“Walk in your calling today.” Thank you. I needed that…. I’ve been stuck on what to do with my situation, but if I only focus on today (right now) then I can walk in what God has called me to do.

I needed to read this. My sweet newborn is sleeping on my chest as I read. I have had a few melt downs from exhaustion. Wondering how I am going to write with a baby, pump schedule and husband. I’ve questioned it all.
Thank you for your encouragement.

This comment has blessed my heart. So glad it encouraged you. I completely understand the nursing schedule, newborn baby, husband, home, and the writing! I was literally starting off my blog when we found out our newborn had intestine problems. We had to endure 4 different surgeries, constant visits to the ER, constant weekly visits to specialist, and since he was in so much pain, till he was nine months old, he never had more than 2 hours of sleep at a time, plus we had a 1 year old and two older children in sports. The word Exhaustion was minimal compared to how we were feeling. But God…. God told me to keep writing and so I did and I am so glad I did. He gave my spirit and my physical rest for it!

This is great Carmen!
As bloggers we have the power to shape a large portion of social media. And, as Christian bloggers God has blessed us with a small but mighty platform to touch at least ONE person’s heart, if not more. It’s a big deal! I think sometimes we forget how much impact we can have as Christian bloggers on someone else — even if they don’t verbally tell us. It’s good for us to consistently pray for our ministries and our hearts! Thanks for sharing. 🙂

Thank you Tenesha for commenting! Yes, it is a very big deal and we do impact others with our words, that is why it is so important to be led by God’s words not of our own. By praying for our ministry of blogging, the Lord can and will direct us. Blessings to you and your blog Tenesha! You have a beautiful site and anointing in your writings!
